Canopy Team members supported MLB’s Global Events staff on ballpark operational items throughout All-Star Week, with a particular focus on coordinating with the host team’s event staff on nearly twenty non-ticketed events held at the ballpark. This includes liaising with internal MLB departments (Sponsorship, Ticketing, Community, DE&I, Broadcasting, etc.) and their clients on executing a shared vision for their events ranging from on-field batting practices to pre-game receptions and HBCU panel discussions.
Canopy also worked with MLB Brand Design on the design, production, and coordination of various ballpark event and transportation signage seen throughout the event footprint and across the city. One such project was coordinating with MLB and host team staff on the design, production, and installation of sidewalk decals outlining MLB’s “Green Path,” a program aimed at educating fans on various sustainability initiatives across the League and encouraging fans to walk to the ballpark. Canopy also designed a public city map, highlighting event locations and the different public transportation and shuttle routes to and from the ballpark.
