Jackie joins Canopy Team with tenured experience in the construction management industry throughout the DMV region. She brings a crucial set of skills as a project manager and superintendent with a broad experience in commercial and residential construction means, methods, and materials. Previously, as a consultant for Adams Design Group Architects and the 400 million multi-phased renovation project for Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Jackie provided guidance for the design team’s input on constructibility issues, the surveying of existing conditions, and inspections. Her experience spans across project management for Turner Construction, Centex/Balfour Beatty and owner’s representation for Penn Station Partners LLC, a joint venture development team with Beatty Management Group & Cross Street Partners. She also was in project management with Jacobs Engineering for capital planning and construction collegiate clients.  Her time and expertise in the construction industry adds instrumental value to Canopy Team as she brings a unique skillsets in risk management, budget management, negotiation, decision making, and quality control.

As a Senior Construction Manager, Jackie oversees large-scale capital improvement projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a liaison between the integrated services of architects, engineers, consultants, and collaborators, she ensures continuous alignment of project and client goals throughout each phase of construction. As one of the leaders of our project management team, she oversees the development and management of project budgets, cost estimates, and cash flow forecasts.

Jackie graduated from Howard University’s School of Architecture and has a depth of training and certificates from her decades of experience in project management. A true Marylander, Jackie laid roots in Baltimore after her time in DC and has never looked back as a long-term passionate resident of the Charm City! She has a love for Korean Style Tae Kwon Do, exploring different areas of the city, and spending time with her family (and adorable beagle!).
