Kenya joins Canopy Team after starting her professional career in the NFL, where she worked with the Baltimore Ravens Marketing team as a Fan Activation and Development Intern and Denver Broncos Community Impact team as a Programs and Events Coordinator. While at the Baltimore Ravens, Kenya led and assisted with large scale fan facing events and programs as well as corporate partner needs. After her time with the Ravens, she shifted gears to focus on team VIP programming, serving as the primary liaison for families of players, coaches, and executives centered around creating memorable experiences through events, trips, and group activities. She also organized and executed large scale community impact and volunteer events for the Denver Broncos Foundation, team partners and sponsors, and designed and developed materials for various projects including monthly newsletters, event invitations and decorations, and informational flyers and presentations.
At Canopy Team, Kenya serves as a Project Coordinator, providing a broad range of support across the project operations and management teams. In her role, she manages a complex set of project responsibilities across multiple leagues and sports venues. Drawing from her experience in the NFL, she brings her passion, creativity, and expertise in event programming and coordination with a community-centric vision.
Kenya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Yale University. During her time at Yale, she was a four-year starter for the women’s lacrosse team earning an All-conference accolade her senior year. With true Baltimore roots, Kenya loves exploring the city’s vibrant food and art scene, discovering local businesses, and walking her dog to parks along the harbor.
